The offline Partial Discharge Analyzer is a comprehensive tool for assessing dielectric in Power Transformers, Generators, Motors, Current Transformers-Potential Transformers. By way of periodical monitoring of partial discharge occurring within the insulation structure, the operational reliability of the insulation in critical apparatus can be established. Such assessment helps provide valuable information for the pre-fault condition of the apparatus which could be very critical in power infrastructure and forecast the maintenance and repair schedules or in many cases PD assessment can help avoid or postpone the inspection and maintenance plans to prioritize the operational availability of the assets.

Features

Partial Discharge Analyzer works based on Electrical PD signal detection and covers the broad frequency range as per IEC 60270 and is designed for a very sensitive on-site PD measurement for assessing insulation defects within Power Transformers, Generators, Motors, Current Transformers-Potential Transformers.

PD analyzer offers flexibility of either single, three or six channel measurements to facilitate measurement from multiple sensor inputs at a given location and perform better analysis. The device allows the storage & viewing of measurements on external laptop. Optional battery backup can be integrated into the device for convenience of operation in outdoor areas without availability of auxiliary power in the vicinity.
